MEET THE SPEAKER
A journey shaped by practice, service, learning and the belief that useful digital knowledge should be accessible to more people.
My name is Benjamin Orji, professionally known as Mr. Mobet. I am a digital technology entrepreneur, media practitioner, trainer and founder of MOBET Digital Academy and MOBET Online Academy.
My journey in video editing and event coverage began in Port Harcourt in 2016. That early experience gave me a practical foundation in visual communication: how to notice a story, capture meaningful moments, shape footage into a clear message and use video to help people connect with an event, an organisation or an idea.
In February 2023, I fully launched Mobet Media Academy, now known as MOBET Digital Academy. The mission was straightforward: help people learn digital skills by doing the work, not simply listening to theory. Through structured, hands-on sessions, we teach content creation, video editing, website design, AI-assisted creative work, digital marketing, social media advertising and related practical technologies.
Since launching, I have conducted more than 38 physical training sessions, with the October 26–30 session marking the 38th, and trained over 500 individuals. Participants have included small-business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers, students, content creators and people taking their first steps into digital technology.
Beyond public classes, I have delivered private training and media services for organisations and businesses, including Kindred Travels & Tours and Kaima Kitchen, and event filming for Ignite Bootcamp. My documentary and event-coverage work has also included projects connected with the Nigerian Police Force, retired military personnel including Garuba Baba Umar, the current AIG of Police Ifeanyi Henry Uche, and retired DIG of Police Sylvester Alabi. Selected documentaries and media projects are available on YouTube.
Training has also taught me a great deal about marketing and sales: how to explain value, earn attention, communicate with people who are unfamiliar with an offer, nurture audiences who already have some trust, and help businesses tell their stories more effectively. The participant feedback and video testimonials from our sessions—shared across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn—remain an important record of the learning experience we continue to build.
Our work is still growing. Through MOBET Digital Academy and MOBET Online Academy, I continue to champion practical learning that helps people and organisations understand technology, communicate better, create useful content and identify new possibilities.

WHAT I CAN SPEAK ABOUT
Sessions can be tailored to the audience, event format and outcomes you want to achieve—whether it is a conference, seminar, business gathering, staff development programme or community event.
How entrepreneurs, small businesses and organisations can embrace digital tools to work smarter, communicate clearly and create new opportunities.
Practical lessons on positioning an offer, communicating value, building trust, and selling to both cold audiences and people who already know your brand.
How to turn ideas, products, people and real experiences into useful stories that attract attention and help an audience understand your message.
The creative and practical process behind compelling video content, event coverage, interviews, documentaries and digital storytelling.
Ways to explore AI-assisted content workflows and modern digital tools thoughtfully, without losing the human purpose behind the message.
Lessons from developing a practical training institution, working with different audiences, and growing through consistent delivery and participant feedback.
WHY INVITE MR. MOBET?
I bring the perspective of someone who has worked with media, trained diverse learners and built a practical digital-skills institution. My goal is to make each session relevant, understandable and useful after the event ends.
Examples draw from real training rooms, media assignments and business-facing digital work.
Complex topics are broken into language and steps that different audiences can follow.
Talks can focus on entrepreneurs, students, creators, teams, public institutions or business owners.
The aim is for people to leave with ideas they can discuss, practise and apply.
